The terms behind using CHEMALOT.
These terms govern how the CHEMALOT platform may be used. They are written to be read, not just filed, because a verification service only works when both sides understand the deal.
Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using CHEMALOT, you agree to these terms on behalf of the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. Where a separate signed agreement exists between your business and CHEMALOT Private Limited, that agreement takes precedence where the two differ.
What the service does
CHEMALOT verifies business entities against source records, monitors them for change, surfaces fraud and compliance signals, manages contracts, and produces suggested credit exposure. It is a tool to inform your decisions about who to do business with and on what terms.
What the service does not do
CHEMALOT informs decisions; it does not make them for you. Verification results, risk scores, fraud flags and suggested credit limits are inputs to your judgment, not guarantees. A high trust score is not a promise of good conduct, and a flag is a prompt to review rather than a verdict. You remain responsible for the commercial decisions you take.
Acceptable use
- Use the platform only for legitimate verification of entities you have a genuine business relationship with or reason to assess.
- Do not submit data you have no right to submit, or use results for any unlawful or discriminatory purpose.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
- Keep your account credentials secure and limit access to authorised users within your organisation.
Your data responsibilities
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to submit the personal and business data you upload for verification, and for the accuracy of what you provide. How we handle that data is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and accuracy
We work to keep the platform available and its results accurate, but verification depends on external sources whose availability and correctness are outside our control. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or that every source will always be reachable at the moment of a check.
Fees and plans
Access is provided under the plan agreed with your business. The capabilities available to you depend on that plan, as described on the Pricing page, and any specific commercial terms are set out in your agreement with us.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CHEMALOT is not liable for commercial decisions you make based on its outputs, or for losses arising from inaccuracies in third-party source data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached or where continued use would create legal or security risk. You may stop using the platform at any time, subject to the terms of your agreement.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Where a change is material, we will make it visible here, and continued use after a change means the updated terms apply.
